Is there an set amount of time the machine can run for?

No, there is no set time the machine can run for, you may find you will run out of steam before our machine does! As you can imagine our technicians use them 7 hours a day every day. There will be time that you need to switch them off to either change abrasives or clean down the glass or swap backing pads. When working with a machine and polishing for a long period of time the machine may get hot, this is normal and to cool the machine down it is best to place it on the ground and left running in a safe place. This enables cool air to get in the machine and cool the working parts down quicker.
